Retropolis Rocket Works 2 by BWS Retropolis Rocket Works 2 by BWS
Here are two more official, stamped and signed design drawings for open-cockpit roadster rockets from the Future That Never Was.

Though it's probably not obvious, the red one was inspired by an old Ferrari racing car (I do mean old), and the metallic one... well, I was trying to base it on an old Morgan three wheeler, but it just kept having these ideas of its own, and eventually it won.

Yay! The metallic one is my favourite. May be you have one pic with opened hood so I can steal drawings and make my own! The real one!
By the way you should be main designer at some car factory 'couse those annoying wheeled box are just...... just ugly!

It's 2004.
I was promised flying cars by now.
Where is my flying car?!
I want one that looks just like black one. However, can I get it with a grey interior and one of those new Schenk 4000 heads-up-displays? Not the S3000 HUD... I don't like the liquid crystal... I prefer the 4000 with the 3D plasma one. And, let's make sure we get the flip up top because it can get pretty cold in deep space.
Oh, and put the stellar-light turbo option in. Hotblack Desiato will be sooo jealous! Of course, he won't see my new ride until 2005... he's spending a year dead (for tax reasons).

Hey you remember the ads on the backs of the old Superman comic books?...

Build a hovercraft in your own back yard?... the plans were only ten dollars and required a vacuum cleaner motor...

Along with X-Ray Specs, this was the height of our boyhood dreams....

Oh, and let's not forget the miniature submarine kit!

Anyway,

Yeah, I guess I would too :).

There is a 3D fabrication service I'd like to try sometime: [link] but they have some restrictions on the models that mean I'd really have to rebuild these in Max before they could `print' them. Neat though.

Woah!...Those models are sweet....Damn shame i cant have one of your Rockets next to my real cool as a Lamp:lol:

But you'd get so many more tickets in the red one; I don't know, I had a bad insurance rate experience a few years ago and I'm just a little nervous about it.
bakasama Featured By Owner Feb 29, 2004
These are great. They kind of remind me of the vanships from Last Exile.

They're both really quite cute, but I'd definitely ride the red one. It's got style. I'm cool when I'm driving it.
